Be a Boffin was founded by Dr. Lara Suttner, a scientist, mother, and passionate advocate for childhood development. With a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Witwatersrand, Lara has spent years exploring the intersection of science, education, and play. But it was becoming a mother that truly ignited her mission.

As a parent herself, Lara dedicated countless hours researching how to best stimulate children for both academic and social success. She understands the challenges busy parents face in balancing it all and wanted to create something that makes it easier to equip kids for the future.
